What is Iris?
Iris is an AI-powered voice receptionist that handles inbound phone calls and SMS for your business. It can answer questions, book appointments, and manage leads — all automatically.
How do I get started?
Sign up with your Google account, then follow the onboarding wizard. You'll provide your business details, customize your AI agent's voice and personality, and configure how calls should be handled.
What happens during onboarding?
During onboarding, we scrape your website to understand your business, let you set your agent's voice tone and personality, configure call handling policies, set up CRM fields, and give you a preview of your agent before going live.
How do I connect a phone number?
You can connect a Twilio phone number or SIP trunk to your Iris agent. An active subscription is required before connecting a phone line. Navigate to Phone Lines in the dashboard to get started.
What plans are available?
We offer three plans: Core (75 calls/month), Pro (150 calls/month), and Premium (400 calls/month). All plans include AI voice reception, call recording, transcripts, and CRM integration.
Can I try before subscribing?
Onboarding is completely free! You can set up and preview your AI agent at no cost. A subscription is only required when you're ready to go live with a connected phone number.
How does call recording work?
All calls handled by your Iris agent are automatically recorded and transcribed. You can access recordings and transcripts from your dashboard. Please ensure compliance with your local call recording laws.
Can my agent book appointments?
Yes! If you connect your Google Calendar, your agent can check availability and book appointments directly during calls. Enable the calendar tool in your agent settings to get started.
How do I manage my team?
Navigate to Organization in the dashboard to invite team members. Iris supports three roles: Owner (full access), Admin (manage agents and settings), and Member (view-only access).
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription anytime from the Billing page. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. You can reactivate at any time.
